Returns Policy

Returns
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a return or exchange. Returns will not be allowed on the basis of a 'change of mind'.
All approved returns are refunded via store credit in the form of a Coolsteel Fabrication Discount code.
Coolsteel Fabrication reserves the right to solely define and limit, refuse, and/or reject returns from customers at any time due to:
An irregular or excessive returns history
An irregular or excessive returns history involving used, altered, damaged, or missing items;
Potential fraudulent or criminal activity; or,
Similarly, Coolsteel Fabrication reserves the right to refuse service to any customer or entity, due to similar actions as noted above.
Coolsteel Fabrication Discount code (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your return.
If you are approved, then your return will be processed, a Discount code will be created and e-mailed to your nominated e-mail address. Please be aware that discount codes will only be for the price of the item and does not include any shipping costs. A re-issue will not occur if the provided email address by yourself is incorrect.The discount code will be a one off use and will be valid for a period of 12 months from the date of issue.
Sale items (if applicable)
All items with prices ending in $ .90, .95, are considered Final Sale and cannot be returned for store credit.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at coolsteelfab@aapt.net.au with your sales order number to begin the process.
Shipping
Returns
To return your product, contact us at coolsteelfab@aapt.net.au with your original sales order number to begin the process.
Coolsteel does not provide pre-paid return labels; you will be responsible for covering the shipping costs to return. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund (in the form of a discount code), it will only be for the item and not your shipping costs.
Please allow 5-7 business days to process your return once it is received by our Returns Department.
Helpful Hint: Keep your proof of postage and ship your return along with a tracking number as we are not liable for return packages that are lost or stolen in-transit.
Exchanges
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are shipping an item/items over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Returned to Sender & Refused Packages
This can happen if :
1) an address is invalid or missing information
2) the carrier is unable to deliver your package
3) the order is refused by the customer at the time of delivery.
Returned to sender or refused packages will be restocked and you will be issued store credit in the form of a Discount code minus the initial shipping charge. We are unable to replace or reship in these instances as all returned shipments are processed by our Returns Department. Instead, please use the Discount code at checkout when placing a new order using the correct address. Keep in mind that we do not guarantee your items will be in-stock at the time of your reorder.
Please be aware
We are unable to make changes to orders that are placed on our system. To ensure that your package is properly delivered, make sure that your address is entered correctly and includes all relevant information. The use of correct abbreviations, street numbers, building or apartment numbers are critical to ensuring delivery. Coolsteel does not take responsibility for lost, misplaced, or incorrectly delivered shipments if the address information provided is incorrect at the time of purchase.
